North Waltham
North Waltham has been a winner in the Best Kept Villages competition. The ancient Manor of North Waltham belonged to the Bishops of Winchester and is mentioned in William the Conqueror's Domesday Survey. There is evidence that the site was settled from the Neolithic age. As with so many North Hampshire villages the church was rebuilt by the Victorians but still contains some of the fourteenth century original fabric and it also has a fifteenth century font, originally in Popham church. There are three pubs within the parish boundaries: The Sun, The Wheatsheaf and the Fox.

My photo shows the fine trees in the centre of the village.

North Waltham Village Website
A neat and clear presentation, with sections for the Parish Council, Clubs and Societies, Village Information, the Village Trust, Children's groups and activities and the Church.
St Michael's Church
Aptly, the Rector here is Michael Kenning, who is also Rural Dean of the Whitchurch Deanery.
Quishions, Kewerings and a Poul Cat
This curious and fascinating title introduces an equally fascinating web page by Ann Lloyd, a long time resident of the village.
The Fox
An attractive country pub with a comfortable garden, serving real ale (including Youngs Bitter - no relation!), and with a wide range of food.
